{chinese casserole}

Mum's Chinese Casserole

Cook 1 cup rice.
Pan fry 1 lb. hamburger with a bit of onion and green pepper.(add mushrooms if you want)

Make this sauce:
1 cup brown sugar                                                          
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1.5 cup water
0.5 cup vinegar
3 tbsp. ketchup
Bring to a boil to to thicken.

Spread rice in bottem of a 9x9 baking dish, then the hamburger. Pour the sauce over, & scatter pineapple bits  &/or 'Farkay' noodles. (chow mein noodles or whatever you call them!!!)
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

  1. hey i made those jalepeno grilled cheese and they are awesome...i added tomatoes to some of them which were enjoyed by the tomatoe lovers...keep up the menu planning.
