{a-hem. the menu was}

ya. sorry. got a little side tracked.
I'll tell ya what we be eating this week.

MONDAY- Perogie Cassarole, sausage, cooked peas  GRANDMA HOERNERS APPLESAUCE
TUESDAY- chicken fajitas
WEDNESDAY- Slow cooked chicken, gourmet potatos  James just came home
with a bag full of TAMALES.
THURSDAY- grilled ham & cheese, GRANDMA HOERNERS APPLESAUCE aaahmazing.
FRIDAY- James birthday- so I am not really sure what is going to happen!
SATURDAY- a night out with some friends to a Japanese Steakhouse/Sushi place.
We have heard much Yumminess about this place, where they cook your food in front of you, so..
we will go!

The Highest Place. Top. Utmost.Over All.

Above every thing. We place Him.
Above our spouse.

{... & olive garden salad}

Good morning to all...

It is a beautiful Sunday morning over here in my little corner of the world.
and besides my awful asthma/cold episode going on, (and the huge amount hacking every 2 minutes) I am good=) Delighted in fact to tell you that as of yesterday I have lost  4, FOUR WHOLE pounds!! I clapped my hands and jumped around ,after I got off the scale.

Here is a version of Olive Gardens salad... Others told me theirs was different, I like this one, it is mild. very mild. which I like. I like the mildness. uh-huh.

1/2 cup mayo.
1 tsp. oil
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. cornsyrup
2 tbsp. parm. cheese
2 tbsp. romano cheese (optional)
1/4 tsp. garlic
1/2 tsp dry Italian dressing
1/2 tsp. parsley
salt and pepper
Mix. If too tart add sugar.

red onion
peppers. (not bell, those other ones like they use at Subway on sandwhiches. lol)

{1-2-3} + Menu plan}

1. Go read this blog post. I seriously Laughed {very much} out loud when I read it. Some of it sounds all to familiar, and some of it it just down right FUNNY!!! gooo. now---> {momastery} I smiled for the rest of the day... =)

2. I have LOST 2.4 pounds as of yesterday!!! I have been on my 1200 calories a day diet for 3 weeks now... Thought I would have lost more in that amount of time, but! I must be losing in inches faster than pounds because, my clothes are starting to feel looser !!! {huge grin}

3. I am in the middle of getting ready for my dear Auntie and Uncle to be at my house Wed. night for night, and also a friend of mine and I are hosting a big 'Couples only Supper' Friday eve. So much organizing and cleaning house is happening. I will try to post my menu plan up tonight yet though. I need it, even if none of you do !

Menu Plan added!

MONDAY- Upside down pizza, lettuce salad, cooked carrots
TUESDAY- we got a dinner invite, yippee =)
WEDNESDAY- Calzones, lettuce salad (who makes these? any tips?)
THURSDAY- eating out
FRIDAY-  Easy Chicken* (like we had at my  wedding) gourmet potatoes, 'Olive Garden Salad', Applesauce Jell-O, bread, Red Velvet cake roll
Saturday- Quesidillas, salsa & sour cream (salsa is a veggie, hello)


As many chicken breasts as you need.
Squirt Italian dressing over. Do not submerge, just squirt over.
Slow cook until done. Mix 1 cup ketchup  and 1 cup honey , pour over and cont. to slow cook until ready to eat or for 1 hour. Eat it !!

{sweet tea)

I love sweet tea. Home made fresh brewed sweet iced tea. My sugar addiction.
A caffeine kick up in the morning, cold refreshing on a hot day. Any where , any time. Never with out tea bags (including Earl Grey) or sugar. until-

I started this diet thing. This diet! This counting calories. In one 8oz. cup of it there is  70 calories. Or more depending on how sweet I make it...

Then, I found a box of this stuffed way back in a cupboard. (my sister-in-law must have had a vision that someday I would need it, or else she just plum forgot it!!!)

(insert drum roll)

I now can be once again seen sipping my own brew. (with a look of disgust and joy at the same time as I swallow.) Nothing can replace sugar in sweet tea. But at the same time. I am soo delighted to be drinking it again I don't even care about that bitter after taste of artificiality.

How do you deal with it? Or do you deal with it by eating it ?? ;) lol

ps. I have lost 1.4 pounds this last week. I am hoping for a mucho more bettah week coming up!!!
